I love Hairfolk! I’ve been going to Kristie Michaels for years and can’t say enough good things about her. I live in New York and literally fly back to Birmingham to see her - she always does an amazing job, both on my color and my cut. The salon is beautiful and everyone is so friendly. If you’re looking for a salon with exceptional stylists and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend!

Hands down, the best salon in the Birmingham area! Devon and Whitney are both amazing with blondes. Whitney has been doing my extensions for over a year and is a GURU. From the consultation to upkeep - she is always there to answer questions and keeps my hair looking fabulous! The salon itself is decorated with a sophisticated elegance and the people that work there are even more wonderful. Cannot say enough great things about Hairfolk!

The new salon is absolutely gorgeous! Eric did an amazing job with the design, a totally pampering experience! Devin always does a fantastic job on my hair~cut, color and style! He is so much fun to work with! All of the stylists and staff are amazing, you can't go wrong!

I had a fantastic experience here! First walking in, it's super beautiful and very clean, and everyone was immediately kind and helpful. I saw Lauren for my cut who is incredibly sweet and professional! I showed her some inspirational pictures and asked for her advice on how to make the style work for me/my face shape and she knocked it out of the park! I had longer layers done as well as a bangs trim and walked out feeling great with exactly what I wanted. Couldn't recommend this place more, and I will definitely be back!

The best! Came here to fix my hair after a botched dye job at another high-end salon in B'ham. I've now been seeing Patricia for over a year and couldn't be happier. I get regular compliments on my color and cut. As if that's not enough, it has the best atmosphere - so happy and positive with lovely people. Couldn't recommend more!

Hairfolk is the only place I'll get my hair done in Birmingham! All the staff I have interacted with are friendly and inviting right when you walk through the door. I have had my hair cut twice with Whitney Warner, and cut once and colored twice by MacKenzie Dean, and I have never walked away disappointed. MacKenzie is incredibly knowledgeable and talented. I walk in with a couple inspiration photos, and she talks through what I liked about each so we can build my perfect vision. She also asks me questions about how I style and maintain my hair so we can adjust the color and style to something that would better fit my lifestyle. My hair looks perfectly sunkissed, and MacKenzie places the highlights so they grow out naturally and don't require much upkeep (a goal of mine). Selfishly, I want to keep MacKenzie as my little secret so she doesn't get booked up and make getting an appointment too difficult, but her work is too amazing not to share!

I had the best experience with Hairfolk! My stylist was Lauren and she was tentative, sweet, and precise. She did highlights without a haircut on this visit. I would recommend Hairfolk as a reputable salon.

Patricia did my hair and IM OBSESSED. This is the best haircut I’ve had in a very long time!! My first time here and definitely a returning customer! GO GIVE THIS GIRL YOUR MONEY ITS SO WORTH IT!!
